Transfer services

Meeting your driver at Cancun Airport

  1. Clear immigration and customs (e-gates in Terminals 3 and 4 issue a digital tourist card for eligible e-passports).
  2. Walk straight through the exit hall. Staff inside offering “free” transport or tours are mostly timeshare sellers – you do not need to stop.
  3. Outside the terminal, look for your driver or representative holding a sign with your name. Your confirmation email has the exact meeting point.

Flights land at Terminal 2, Terminal 3 or Terminal 4 depending on the airline – see the airline directory or check the live arrivals board. Drivers track your flight, so a delay is not a problem.

Other ways to get there

  • ADO bus + taxi – ADO bus to the downtown station, then a short taxi to Puerto Juárez or Gran Puerto.
  • Airport taxi or shared shuttle – sold at the official counters inside each terminal. Fares are set by zone and are usually higher than a pre-booked private transfer, and shared vans stop at several hotels.
  • Car – there is paid parking at the ferry terminals; on the island most people get around by golf cart, scooter or taxi.
