How to get from Cozumel to Cancun
There are no scheduled flights between Cozumel and Cancun, and no ferry from Cancun to Cozumel. Take the passenger ferry from San Miguel to Playa del Carmen (Xcaret Xailing or Ultramar, about 35–45 minutes, many sailings a day), then the road to Cancun Airport, about 55 km: about 50–60 minutes by private transfer or 1–1 h 50 min by ADO bus. Allow about 2.5–3 hours door to door.
Arriving at Cancun Airport
If you are flying out of Cancun after Cozumel, allow at least 3 hours for international flights on top of the ferry and road time. Our private transfers can pick you up at the Playa del Carmen ferry pier and take you straight to your terminal.
