Costa Mujeres is the newest resort area in Cancun, on the coast north of Playa Mujeres facing Isla Mujeres. It is almost entirely large all-inclusive resorts on wide, quiet beaches, with no town around them. It is one of the furthest Cancun areas from the airport, about 40–50 minutes by road, because the route goes around the city.
