Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is a major airport in the U.S. state of Alaska, located 5 miles southwest of downtown Anchorage. The airport is named for Ted Stevens, a U.S. senator from Alaska in office from 1968 to 2009.

Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport (ANC) is truly the gateway to Alaska, serving a growing number of national and international airlines. More than 5 million passengers pass through our gates annually. ANC is also the home of the Lake Hood Seaplane Base – the largest seaplane base in the world! Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport is conveniently located just 15 minutes from downtown Anchorage and is served by local bus routes, as well as shuttles to downtown locations.
